Sample of fabric & color for border on table runner.
Working to sew a hem across the bolt of fabric before borders are attached. Fabric is titled "Idyllic Days" and it is from a fabric mill in CT, I've had this fabric since 7th grade and finally found a use for it.
Prior to sewing the pieces together I placed them together to make sure composition, and amount of fabric for the border was sufficient. The border is muslin dyed with hibiscus, onion skin, and iron tablets in a rotating triangular pattern.
I made a mini version of this table runner with leftover fabric.
