I created this banner to illustrate the narrative of my family. Each panel of the banner tells a different story.

For this papel picado, I used naturally dyed cotton with cochineal, indigo, madder root and cosmos. After dying the fabric, I designed each illustration and made a vector drawing for the laser cutter. After laser cutting the designs into fabric, I strung up each panel.
